The last few months have been rough and not only has Covid taken a financial toll on many of us, it has also made life a little (very) boring.

We may not be able to help you out too much with your finances at this point, but we definitely can give you some fun ideas on what you can do during covid to stay sane.

What to do during Covid in Toronto

These are some of the you can do in Toronto while staying safe and following the quarantine rules.

Things to do on a Budget:

1. Spend the day at Humber Bay Shores.

Humber Bay Shores is one of the most beautiful areas in Toronto. With beautiful lake views, gorgeous pathways, relaxing beaches and several restaurants with patios to choose from, it will definitely help you relax.

Stop by Eden for a gelato or grab a coffee at BB Cafe, there are many cafes to choose from. If your someone who enjoys driving, take a drive down Lakeshore towards Toronto.

2. Rent a kayak at Humber River.

For about $50 you and a partner can rent a Kayak for 2 hours and enjoy the easy Humber River. Towards the end, you will have the best views of the city. This can be quite a workout so make sure your partner is up to it!

3. Go biking down the Martin Goodman Trail

For those who enjoy working out, biking down the Martin Goodman trail is the perfect thing to do. With so many great pitstops along the way such as The Beach Shack, it’s hard not end the ride with a calorie surplus.

Things to do with no Budget

So you have been saving over the last few months and don’t know how to spend your money? No problem, Downtown Money is here to help!

1. Get a dirt bike

Guilty as charged. This is something we did and we do not regret it. Hop on over to Kijiji and find a well priced dirt bike or ATV. Do not cheap out on safety gear such as helmets and chest protection. This is something that is “quarantine appropriate” but may hurt the wallet a little more than walking down Lakeshore.

2. Buy/rent a boat/ jet ski

Coronavirus may have stopped all the festivals and events, but it has not stopped summer. The weather has been unreal the past couple of weeks and there has never been a better time to go for a boat ride.
